Bows swing up and out of the way for loading at the touch of a button! Our exclusive Turning Point™ Bow System, which moves the bows with the pull of a rope, is now available in an electric upgrade. This allows the operator to remain safely in the cab while operating the system with a rocker switch or remote control.
In manual or electric, our Turning Point™ Bow System’s center pivoting ridgepole holds the tarp without sagging, so you need fewer bows. Bows move as one, in a single motion. The locking system provides secure support during transport and serves as a skid plate when the bows swing closed.
The electronic actuator is specifically designed for long life in harsh outdoor environmental conditions. The Electric Turning Point™ Bow System can operate safely in temperatures ranging from -86 to 140 degrees F. and has an IP66 operation environmental protection rating.
Safety is a priority. Integrated brakes lock the actuator from any movement, and the integrated overload slip-clutch automatically protects the actuator from being overloaded and damaging itself. A cut-off switch permits the actuator to operate ONLY when the roll tarp is completely open. In the event of actuator, wiring or switch failure, the Electric Turning Point™ Bow System can be easily converted back to manual.
