The Cable-Lok™ is the smoothest move in tarping – from open to closed, simply and easily. Spring-loaded tension with cable attachment keeps your tarp tight,even in moderate wind conditions. Applications are available for grain carts, grain wagons and farm bodies. Engineered for secure tarp attachment, the Cable-Lok™ has an extruded tarp attachment slot running the full length of the aluminum roll tube. Once the tarp is inserted,a safety rod anchors it in place, making for easy tarp removal down the road. Pressure is distributed evenly along the fabric – no binding, overlap or friction. This gives the tarp a fitted appearance. Durable nylon spools and a galvanized steel cable offer a unique blend of strength and endurance, to keep the system operating smoothly, year after year. Ratchets let you adjust tarp tension at install. A reinforced flexible hose assembly that will not collapse moves the tarp spool freely and easily across the end caps. The crank arm can be positioned at the side or the rear of the box for the lowest possible profile. No-weld installation makes Cable-Lok™ a go-to choice for busy farmers. Its galvanized quick-release bows and easy-off tarp stops keep things simple, allowing tarp removal with minimal tools, in the shortest amount of time. Stops are self-cleaning, for further time savings. The crank retainer is designed to swivel for convenient snap-in attachment and the polymer crank handle provides a sure, comfortable grip even in wet weather. Shur-Co.® uses only the finest materials and workmanship. Steel components are plated or powder coated for strength and corrosion resistance. Stainless steel upgrades are also available. Ridge straps of high-tensile webbing stand up to wind and stresses of operation. Every Cable-Lok™ tarp is constructed of 18-ounce Seaman® Shelter-Rite™ solid vinyl – the same durable fabric used in our Shur-Lok® roll tarps. The same colors are also available red, orange, yellow, green, marine, royal blue, white, maroon, grape, gray, tan,brown and black. Each lot is lab-tested for tear strength, adhesion stability and cold-weather flexibility. Shur-Co.® quality is in the details, and the Cable-Lok™ is no exception. The seams are heat-welded (the added thickness keeps the tarp watertight) while reinforced stitching adds strength at stress points, reducing the likelihood of tears.
