The jack shaft is used with the crank relocator on tub trailers, V-bottom trailers, wedge trailers, or in any application when the crank relocator needs to be moved closer to the main body of the trailer. Direct Drive Crank Arm Provides convenient, safe operation of crank handle on high-sided trailer. This 31" extension can be used when the standard crank is not long enough to be easily operated from the ground. Manual Crank Chain or Belt Drive Safety First! The crank relocator allows the chain drive or the V-belt drive crank to be located in a position that is easily accessible from the ground. Gear Reducer Standard on longer trailers because it makes opening and closing the tarp system easier. The gear reducer will reduce cranking efforts by 50%, changing the crank ratio from a 1:1 to a ratio of 2:1.
